Our barn door hardware kit includes everything you need, except the actual barn door (which is not included and not for sale). When it comes to installation, we recommend at least 6 inches of clearance from the ceiling to the doorway. If your door is 35mm thick, you can use the 5mm black spacer we provide to ensure a perfect fit with the roller bolt.

You can easily cut the rail to fit your desired space, but be sure to measure accurately. If your barn door is 40 inches wide, the rail length should be twice the door width.

To ensure the safety and stability of your barn door, we recommend using the following accessories:

1. Door stoppers: These will keep the door in place between the stoppers, preventing it from leaving the track during opening and closing.
2. Floor guide: Installed under the barn door, the floor guide will stop the door from swinging during movement.
3. Anti-jump: Small round pieces installed at the top of the barn door to prevent it from jumping out when opening, closing, or moving.

The maximum weight our barn door hardware can support is 265 pounds. If you need a headboard, it's recommended when the pre-drilled holes on the track don't align with your wall studs or when you have a doorway trim. In this case, you'll need to install a header board of the same thickness as your trim, then mount the track on the header board.

Our barn door hardware kit is made of high-quality materials, including 1/4-inch thick carbon steel (maximum load 265 pounds), POM barn door wheels (stronger than plastic or nylon), and carbon steel spacers (more stable than plastic). The bolts and leg screws are grade 8.8, ensuring the longevity of the system, and the surface is spray-coated with black powder for a smooth, anti-rust finish.
