Q: How much space do I need to keep from the ceiling to the doorway? A: At least 8 inches.

Q: My door is 35mm thick. How can I fit it with the existing bolt? A: You can use the 5mm black spacer included in the package for the roller bolt, and your door will fit perfectly.

Q: Can I cut the rail to fit my space? A: Yes, the rail can be cut to any length, but be sure to cut it to the exact length you need.

Q: If my barn door is 40 inches wide, will this rail suit me? A: Yes, the rail length should be twice the width of the door.

Q: How can I ensure the barn door is safe and stable after installation? A: Use door stoppers to keep the door between them, preventing it from leaving the track when opening or closing. Install a floor guide with a groove to stop the door from swinging under movement. Add anti-jump pieces at the top of the door to prevent it from jumping out during operation.

Q: What if I can't install it myself? A: We provide step-by-step instructions and installation videos to guide you through the process. With two people, you can typically complete the installation in half an hour.

Q: Can I use these products outdoors? A: We do not recommend using our carbon steel kits outdoors, but if you insist, please add a cover over the track.

Q: What is the maximum weight the track can hold? A: The maximum weight capacity is 265 pounds.

Q: Do I need a headboard? A: You may need a headboard if the pre-drilled holes on the track do not align with your wall studs or if you have a doorway trim. The headboard should be the same thickness as your trim and installed into the wall studs, then the track can be mounted on the headboard.
